The busy summer season is almost over now , and the band is set to prepare for autumn and christmas engagements.The season was our first under the baton of Andrew Harris, who has continued with the successes attained with our previous MD Chris Taylor ,who unfortunately had to stand down due to health reasons.
The 2011 season was , unfortunately often effected by poor weather conditions, but despite this our enthusiastic audiences regularly turned out to give us support. Sidmouths Connaught Gardens hosted concerts on Thursday evenings throughout the summer, when the band provided entertainment for locals as well as holidaymakers. The band also played at various fetes and concerts in and around the east Devon area.
